Once you have registered as a qualified Tourist Guide, you have a period of 72 hours (3 days) to make the 35 € payment. Payment must be made using the payment gateway provided by FDT, via credit card.
During this period of 72 hours you can create your template, upload your excursions, etc. If you fail to make the payment within 72 hours, your profile will be deactivated until your bank transfer is made. Once FDT validates the successful completion of your bank transfer, your profile will be visible on the website Portal again.
FDT reserves the right to remove a registered tourist guide from the web portal, if a tourist guide association/federation notifies FDT that said person is not a qualified tourist guide as claimed during the registration process, or if this person is not a member of the national tourist guide association/federation in his/her own country/region/city. In such a case there will be no refund of the fee paid to become a member of the FDT portal.
FDT, in co-operation with the national tourist guide association/federation, reserves the right to remove a registered tourist guide from the FDT web portal, if there are clients' or partners' (justified) bad reviews, proving that this tourist guide does not respect the Code of Conduct from Fair Deal Tours. In these cases, there will be no refund of the fee paid to become a member of the FDT portal.
Our services are purely for personal and not commercial use, if FDT finds out that you are using our Portal for any other purpose or you break any of the rules stated in the Terms & Conditions agreed when signing up as a Tourist Guide, FDT reserves the right to suspend your account immediately and without notice until the circumstances leading to the suspension are clarified.
