Why do we process your personal details?
FDT processes your personal details for the following purposes:
- To deal with and make reservations via the Website.

Personal details collected by FDT
FDT collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number, credit card information etc. to authenticate members and to send notifications to members relating to the Website and/or the Service. Members can edit or remove their profile information and other content at any time by logging into their account and accessing the "edit" features of the Service.
The FDT portal also collects other information from member profiles, including but not limited to a Member's location, hometown, gender, nickname, tourist guide accreditation if any, tourist guide organisation and other information to assist customers and members to find and communicate with each other. This information, as well as a member's photos, first name, and age, are displayed and shared with other tourist guides and/or customers members to facilitate the exchange of interaction between tourist guides and customers of our Portal.
By the same token, users are informed that:
When the user acquires a product or service via the website of FDT, he should give his name, email address, telephone number, credit or debit card number and date of expiry of same, and any other details which may be required to process the order. The case may arise where FDT has to communicate a personal detail such as an address or telephone number to, for example, a messenger service which it has subcontracted to finalise or deliver your order.
In the case of participation by the User in a promotion, lottery or competition, FDT will request the name, postal address and email address for the organisation of said promotional activities and to inform the user of the results of those events in which he may be a winner.

To comply with the conditions of Article 11 of the Data Protection Act, and owing to the characteristics of the products and services to which FDT gives access via our Website, the User gives his unrestricted consent, nationally and internationally, that his details may be passed on to any of FDT's collaborators with the aim of supplying and offering services and to process reservations (management and control of reservations as well as payment of products and services purchased), the sending of information and publicity about offers, promotions and recommendations by FDT for future purchases, as well as carrying out surveys, statistics and market research.

In any case, FDT won't give your details to anyone outside the organisation.

Sharing of information among users and FDT
We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and who are required to keep the information confidential.
We keep your credit card details for a maximum of 30 days after the reservation is made. After this time, your credit card information will be irretrievably deleted from our system.
Thus FDT guarantees the confidential treatment of the personal details of the User, as well as that the server on which these details are stored and managed has the necessary security measures to impede access by unauthorised persons and complies with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13th, on Protection of Personal Data (LOPD).
